总体来说，纵观目前的全球留学市场，和1-2年前比较，悄悄的发生了一些变化，之前是英国和澳大利亚极其火爆，美国则只有10%的签证通过率，而如今，限于经济危机而无法自拔的美国，最终不得不放开市场，开始招揽海外本科学生，可以预见美国会火爆一阵，下次美国市场的收紧将会因为以下原因：美国经济复苏（不象现在这样缺钱）、中美敌对关系恶化（中国和澳洲是战略资源互补，而中国和美国是战略对抗）、以及大规模留学生进入出现的管理（如很多学生黑下来）和负面新闻（如美国糟糕的治安和无所不在的枪支）。

但是美国也好，英国也好，都有极其极其严格的移民政策，留学生通过正常途径移民的少之又少；相对于澳大利亚的完善的移民政策，即使收紧一些，还是有各种途径来完成移民，比如关闭技工移民后门，但是对高等教育仍然会网开一面，当然对申请人的英文要求、专业选择和可雇佣能力提出了更多要求。所以这次澳洲市场的洗牌从长远讲未必都是坏事，至少清除了很多低质量的教育机构，优化了教育市场管理，更多的保护留学生在校的利益。而美国的自费留学市场刚刚大规模放开，还属于摸索阶段，澳大利亚在这方面再一次走在世界前列。希望在澳留学生朋友们不要过于担心，随着澳洲经济复苏完成，目前工作短缺已经增加，澳洲移民局还会再放开更多的移民配额，只要大家学好英文和专业知识，找得到工作，一切都会水到渠成，一定会得到良好的回报。
