题记：

半年前曾经写过一些关于澳洲留学/生活的经验，以别人的名义发表到各个论坛。最近忙于自己的事情，很少再去写一些类似澳洲生活经验的文章。在经历了某种所谓失败后今天振作精神把自己的经验再写一些出来。感谢在曾经经历的留学办理中tigtag, daiwen 的帮助。同时也感谢china2au.com提供的私人空间。也请各位在转发的时候手下留情，保留在下的小小私人空间地址，不要改动文章内容。

一个打击：很多朋友来澳洲前总有这样那样的理想与追求，以澳洲为跳板去美国，避免GRE or 签证麻烦，偶一个小小的追求。（也许有同样想法的人很多，身边的例子就有）遗憾！错了！还是安心1，2年努力攻克GRE在先。美国学校是不会免除GRE/GMAT的（即使已经有了海外的Master）。这也是写本文的最大原因，本人花了一个多月时间研究美国学校排名与申请后，又花大约1个月不到的时间致电/email/索取材料，把有排名的UNSW USYD MQ UOW UTS UWS UMEL MONASH UWA GU UQ 等学校的资料翻了个遍(以上无顺序) 重点阅读了 Commerce /IT/accounting 或者相关专业的 research Master or PhD 介绍与奖学金申请方法。顺带着连coursework 的也看了。但是恐怕依然有不能含概或者错误的地方。还请各位看官自己详细翻阅相关一手材料。请不要给偶发信，本文只写一些泛泛的介绍。具体的整理后会发到自己的网页www.china2au.com/redfox or tigtag中（要等在下先申请完…… :P）有兴趣研讨问题的可以通过网页到偶的私人论坛来找偶。

当你在各个搜索站点使用“澳洲，奖学金”为关键字后出来的结果大部分为“澳洲奖学金介绍上下”（王府版本）等文章。读过这些文章后发现，只是把某个学校的某个奖学金放到全局去说，很容易产生误会。 下面先大致介绍一下各种课程可能的奖学金名目（只写“国际学生”有效的，申请过程步骤，在后续文章里会分学校来介绍（重点部分）。

概括：

泛泛的来说，澳洲的奖学金很少很少，对于Master level 基本上是没有的，所以在你考虑去澳洲读书前，先做好资金上的合理预算。在Master level 中，工科的research 部分学校或者教授本人会为学生提供少量的所谓美国的fellowship。实际中的情况是很少很少，除非你做的研究项目是教授同某企业合作的。研究类型的硕士有可能会担任其教授负责课程下的tutor. 但是薪水…… 不高哦~~~~~~~~ 切记！ PhD 的通常会有奖学金，澳洲学校PhD奖学金种类很多，尽管大部分为本国学生才可以申请，但是国际学生或多或少都能得到资金上的支持（相对Master）。而且PhD 一般会得到很多校内的工作机会。这是Master 所不能的。注意一点的是，同美国不同，澳洲的PhD 一般不会在期间发一个Master 学位！ 下面给出一个广泛不分学校都可以申请的奖学金list. （其实就2个 :P）

以下list 为避免误解，使用英文并忽略各个大学自己的奖学金（将在后续介绍单独学校的时候写出详细些的中文介绍与学校特殊的奖学金）

《Australian Government Awards For International Students》The principal Australian government sponsored (AusAID) scholarship scheme available to international students is the Australian Development Scholarship (ADS).Applications for this scholarship belong to two categories; public sector and open/equity. Public sector awardees are nominated by their own government, whereas open/equity applicants apply directly.The Australian Development Scholarship is open to applicants from nominated countries in Africa, Asia and the Pacific.The scheme aims to promote human resource development through training in Australia. Awardees have their academic fees, health insurance and travel to and from Australia paid, receive an establishment allowance and fortnightly stipend and are entitled to individual tutorial assistance.Individuals interested in nomination under this program should approach the external aid nominating authority in the Australian Diplomatic Mission in their own country合格的申请者 （ china 为符合的国家之一，有个详细的国家list 忽略了，全本请到偶的私人空间找）·have citizenship in an ADS participating country and must not have access to a place in an Australian education institution on the basis of Australian permanent residence status or eligibility to hold a New Zealand passport, (unless their country does not issue passports - the Cook Islands, Niue and Tokelau). ·not have permanent residence status in New Zealand (unless their country does not issue passports - the Cook Islands, Niue and Tokelau). ·not be married or engaged to be married to a person who holds or who is eligible to hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residence status (unless their country does not issue passports - the Cook Islands, Niue and Tokelau). (here, pay more attention~ more, read at www.china2au.com/redfox·meet specific eligibility criteria imposed by the Government of the applicant's country of citizenship (country specific eligibility criteria are available from Australian Diplomatic Missions in the country of citizenship). ·satisfy Australian Government requirements for international student entry to Australia (health and character checks, etc.); ·not hold another scholarship during the period of the ADS; ·not hold or have held an Australian Government Scholarship in the preceding 12 months at the time of application (with the exception of Papua New Guinea Secondary School Project students); ·satisfy the admission requirements of the Australian institution in which the course is to be undertaken; ·be applying to commence a new course of study and not be seeking support through ADS for a course already commenced in Australia; ·not be transferring from another Australian training scholarship to an ADS during the same course of study. ·be able to take up the scholarship in the calendar year for which the scholarship is offered. 奖学金cover的长度Scholarships are offered for the minimum period that the individual could be expected to complete the academic program. Scholarships may include preparatory programs (including English language tuition) which are normally limited to one year. Applicants considering studying for particular professions (eg medicine, legal studies, etc) should note that they are expected to complete their practical training in their own country. Only under exceptional circumstances does ADS include a practical training period required for professional registration. 得到奖学金后的限制/条件Applicants who are offered a scholarship will be asked to sign an undertaking declaring that they will comply with the conditions of that scholarship. Partner countries may impose their own separate conditions on the scholarship. This award meets the cost of course fees for international students. Only international students whose research interests coincide with the University's research activities and who will be beginning postgraduate research masters or PhD programs may apply for the awards. About XX（不同学校的数字不同） are offered to XXX（学校） each year. The IPRS is a fees-only scholarship. It does not provide an allowance for living expenses.The International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) Scheme provides 310 new scholarships each year and enables international students to undertake a postgraduate research qualification in Australia and gain experience with leading Australian researchers.Scholarships are open to international students of all countries (except New Zealand) and are available for a period of two years for a Masters by research degree or three years for a Doctorate by research degree. [ 嘿嘿~~~~~ 不妨当作学校排名好了 :DDDDD ]ok 以上为不用太考虑学校可以申请的奖学金。一般申请步骤为先获得学校的offer 然后写推荐准备材料与表格，到具体的部门去申请。以上两种成功把握不大！重点还是各个学校自己的或者比较特殊的奖学金。比较多了，而且申请比较灵活些。
