今年EIU全球最佳MBA课程首100位排名，50个来自北美，39个来自欧洲，11个来自亚太区。香港科技大学于EIU排名榜领先美国著名商学院如哈佛大学(12)，宾夕凡尼亚大学 (17) 及麻省理工学院(18)，全球排名更跃升至第十一位，再次成为亚太地区排名最高的商学院。
这是香港科技大学工商管理学院(科大商学院)，其全日制工商管理硕士(MBA)课程连续第三年于经济学人信息部(Economist Intelligence Unit，简称EIU)排名榜中位列亚太之冠。
EIU排名调查主要根据四个范畴：「开展新事业机会」、「个人发展及教育经验」、「薪酬增加」及「人际网络潜力」。以香港科技大学为例，这所被EIU形容为亚洲首屈一指的商学院，其MBA课程于「开展新事业机会」排名全球第三，该范畴以招聘公司的多元化、职业辅导服务的水平、经职业辅导服务成功找到工作之比例及学员的评估来厘定。此外，科大MBA课程于「个人发展及教育经验」方面亦排名全球第六，该范畴以教授素质、学员素质、学员国际化背景及教育经验来厘定。作为亚太地区排名最高的商学院，科大的此次获得高排名以下因素功不可没：包括学校任教MBA课程的全职教授的学历（均拥有PhD学历）；学院拥有的极好设备；地理上邻近发展力强的市场（如中国）；毕业生受跨国企业青睐等。
