美国大使馆新闻文化处近日发表通知，美国使馆签证处将在9月1日以前为自2002年5月1日起至今只被拒签过一次的学生签证申请人提供再次申请的机会，自2002年5月1日起至今被拒签过两次及两次以上的学生签证申请人仍将按照既有预约程序约定再次面谈的时间，不享受此项特殊服务。 　　美国大使馆新闻文化处通知全文如下： 　　请注意：北京学生签证申请人再次申请的方案只在北京签证处有效。 　　为确保在北京领事区的学生签证申请人在学校开学前有机会申请学生签证，美国使馆签证处将在9月1日以前为自2002年5月1日起至今只被拒签过一次的学生签证申请人提供再次申请的机会。 　　如你自2002年5月1日起至今只申请过一次学生签证且你的申请被拒签，请将以下信息传真至签证处： 　　姓名 　　出生日期 　　护照号码 　　上次申请签证的日期 　　前往的美国学校名称 　　学校开学日期(应与I-20表所示日期一致) 　　联系电话及传真号码(以便签证处及时与你联系) 　　请将此传真发至： 　　美国使馆非移民签证处 　　传真：6532-6735 　　并注明：Student Visa Reapplication Appointments 　　签证处在收到你的传真后会尽量安排你在学校开学以前来使馆再次面谈(开学日期以I-20表所示日期为准)。是否能获得签证将由负责面谈的签证官决定。 　　注意：自2002年5月1日起至今被拒签过两次及两次以上的学生签证申请人仍将按照既有预约程序约定再次面谈的时间，不享受此项特殊服务。 　　Student Visa Reapplication Appointments 　　Please note: The new reapplication policy for Beijing student visa applicants applies to the Beijing Nonimmigrant Visa Section only. 　　In order to ensure that Chinese student visa applicants in Beijing have a reasonable opportunity to obtain visas prior to the start of the academic year, the U.S. Embassy will make available special reapplication appointment dates prior to September 1 for those students who have been found ineligible only once since May 1, 2002. 　　If since May 1, 2002, you have applied for a student visa at the U.S. Embassy only once and have been found ineligible in the initial application, please provide the following information via fax: 　　Name (Surname, Given Name) 　　Date of Birth 　　Passport Number 　　Date of Previous Visa Application 　　Name of School Applying to Attend 　　Expected Start Date (as indicated on your I-20) 　　Contact Phone Number and Fax Number 　　Your fax should be sent to: 　　U.S. Embassy 　　Nonimmigrant Visa Unit 　　Student Visa Reapplication Appointments 　　Fax number 6532-6735 　　Upon receipt of your fax the U.S. Embassy will attempt to arrange an interview appointment for you prior to the expected start date indicated on your I-20. Your eligibility for a student visa will be determined at the time of your application. 　　Note: Students who have been denied twice or more since May 1, 2002, are not eligible for these special arrangements and must seek a reapplication appointment via standard practices.
