Honorable guests, dear parents and my fellow students,

Good afternoon. It is my sincerest honor to stand here on behaves of all students to deliver you a farewell speech.
How time elapsed away! By giving this speech and looking back, we realized we are graduating from GAC, Global Assessment Certificate. The foundation you build with GAC education will always be relevant. You''ll learn to size up a complex mass of new information and decide what is important. You’ll learn to observe closely, think critically, speak and write articulately, and act effectively on your conclusions. Those skills are applicable anywhere, any time. This is what we learned during the previous year.
At this moment, I believe some of you still persist kind of suspicions about GAC: Will it really works? To illustrate, not long ago, I was one of you, sitting next to my parent, listening to the previous year’s students’ farewell performances and wandering my future; however, life is about making up making choices. Some choices are big like who you marry, while others are even bigger, after one year of assiduous study in GAC, I know I have chosen a right way, a right option and one witty shortcut to fulfill my future.
From basic English grammar knowledge to reflective journey in Level one, International Business Principal and familiarity with scientific report writing in Level two, to 1500-word essay writing and calculus learning in Level three, you will get in touch with a systematic, diverse as well as interesting topics in different time stages and, the most important thing is that, you will seldom get bored with life in GAC.
Apart from the scholastic tasks, you will also learn numerous life tips in GAC: you will gonna experience how to stand out in a competition of verbal presentations out of your creativity; you will gonna experience how to bargain with the tutor for a better score, especially at his/her marking time; you will also experience the struggle for finding your own way-out in the future with aid of your closest friends.
By talking about my friends, here I would like to introduce one of the most brilliant actions initialized by our own, Insight GAC. Insight GAC is a student-based pure English monthly newspaper. I insist you taking a quick glance at this fabulous paper. Meanwhile, to the future GAC students, we hope you can trace our “ancestor” step and develop it to a greater extent as possible as you could. At first, we confronted a lot of barricades, such as lacking of funds or even having no idea of what to put in the next issue; nevertheless, we all solved these tough difficulties eventually. Suddenly we apprehend what we need to conquer the dilemma is not how strong or intelligent we are, but possess a steadfast spirit of problem-solving fortitude.
GAC is progressing throughout his life-span. For further students, you will face a huge challenge of ACT, American College Test. But don''t worry, because you still have an entire year to go through with the help of our teachers at GAC.
Now, let us talk about something about our mentor: Richard Brandon Lei and Ms. Zhu. As far as Richard, your further language tutor will tell you a lot about his way of interpretation of English tests. Lei, who is leaving GAC this month, is kind of a graceful and intellectual lady with profoundly lovely tones of word. Here let us wish her all the best in the future. Mrs. Zhu, who will in charge of your personal life, is a very easy-going and warm-hearted woman.
One year in GAC is transitory and merry. What we can learn in one year may be limited but what we have experienced in the previously one year is precious. Friendship, relationship and commitment, all will fill your GAC life with the most flashing pigments.
In the end, on behalf of all students, I would like to thank Mr. Ben Denton, our teacher Richard, Lei and Ms. Zhu for their endless support during the whole year. We will endeavor our best to accomplish your expectations upon us and keep in mind every little constructive advices for us.
Ultimately, GAC, Global Assessment Certificate, another new life for you!
