Chinese Students in My Eye

The majority of Chinese students have profound knowledge about vocabulary grammar and reading skills especially for multiple choice exercises. They are accustomed to accepting information passively from what they read and seldom challenge the points the authors raise.

What I want to share with those (students and parents) who want to study abroad

Life planning involves not only periodical schemes but a lifelong program as well. Students need to be clear about their ultimate academic and professional goals.

Meanwhile parents are obliged to have their kids make decisions and solve problems independently.

王老师认为，大部分的中国学生，基础知识都非常扎实，特别是在词汇、语法及阅读技巧的运用方面；但是不足的是，中国学生都是比较被动的接受信息，而很少能主动的挑战既定的观点或看法。

在此，王老师想要和大家分享的是：“人生规划并不仅仅是某一个阶段的自我计划，更重要的是终身的规划。因此，同学们应该学会规划自己的最终学习及职业目标。当然，家长们也有责任和义务让孩子们自主地做出自己的决定并独立解决问题。”
