　　My co-workers have been friendly intensely helpful and welcoming and forgiving of my errors as I have settled in. Many students show great promise in physics and even those who do not perform reasonably well considering the difficulty of the subject and in some cases even show piqued interest. Moreover their behavior and attitude are more in line with that of the quintessential “good student” than any group of high school students I can recall. Overall I have been both satisfied by and impressed with the program.

　　One of the things I want to instill in my students is critical thinking. This means asking important questions and making observations then communicating these ideas in a clear coherent and relevant way.

　　In my business and marketing class we think about the ways that technology and globalization are dramatically changing the ways we consume and communicate. The world is evolving very quickly and I want my students to be able to appreciate and articulate these differences in meaningful ways.

　　I teach Calculus and Computer Science Advanced Placement (AP) courses at Chengdu No.7 High School’s International Department. These university level subjects taught in English are excellent preparation for students who want to attend an American university. Also if the students do well in the courses the courses will qualify for full university credit. It’s a great program being taught at a great school with exceptional students. I enjoy the experience very much.
